The options of booking a train ticket so that you always have multiple choices. That is great, but it is not always simple to find your way! FlixTrain knows this, which is why we offer booking instructions in order to help you book your ticket as easily as possible. In these instructions, we will explain to you, step by step, how you can book online, using the app, or purchase a ticket in the Shop.
Please note: you need a valid FlixTrain ticket to ride with us. DB tickets (incl. Bahncard), local public transport tickets, Verbund tickets, Bundeswehr tickets, semester tickets, etc. are not permitted.
Your FlixTrain ticket has a train connection and is only valid on the train indicated on the ticket. Your ticket therefore cannot be transferred to another train.
As soon as you find your train trip, just click "Book" in order to put the trip into your shopping cart. Your seats in your shopping cart are reserved for 30 minutes on our website until you complete the booking.

After you select the payment method, enter the necessary information and click on "To Payment".
After you book your ticket, you will find a complete summary in your email inbox:
You can print out your ticket with this confirmation and present it to the train attendant on the day of travel.
You will receive an email confirmation including all the details of your upcoming trip.

You are not permitted to board without a valid FlixTrain ticket. If you board without a valid ticket, there is a higher fare.
Tickets must be purchased beforehand online, using the app, or in the shop. This enables us to guarantee that every passenger has a seat.
Regardless of how you booked your ticket (online, over the phone, or in the Shop), you have the option of undoing your booking.
