Replacement Services in North Rhine-Westphalia

Due to construction work by DB InfraGO, the stops of the FlixTrain line FLX30 at Bochum Hbf, Essen Hbf, Duisburg Hbf and Düsseldorf Hbf have to be cancelled between March 22nd and April 8th in both directions and between April 25th and May 4th only in the direction of Berlin/Dresden. Alternatively, you can reach these stops by changing to one of our regional cooperation partners. The journey times on your ticket have already been adjusted accordingly. Please note the following details that you should be aware of before travelling!

General information:

On the day of your journey, your ticket is valid for the long-distance FlixTrain journey you have booked as well as any of the following connecting regional train lines*:

A change between regional train and FlixTrain is necessary in Wuppertal Hbf or Wuppertal-Oberbarmen. Please note the transfer point on your ticket. This may also differ on the outward and return journey.

Between Wuppertal and Düsseldorf, please use a regional train on the following lines in both directions:

    Dortmund Hbf <> Wuppertal <> Düsseldorf Hbf <> Aachen Hbf
  • RE13 
    Venlo <> Düsseldorf Hbf <> Wuppertal <> Hamm (Westf) Hbf
  • S8
    Mönchengladbach Hbf  <> Düsseldorf Hbf <> Wuppertal

Please use the rail replacement service with buses between Duisburg Hbf and Mülheim Hbf and get on a regional train from the following list. Please follow the SEV instructions at the stations. The change between regional train and FlixTrain takes place in Dortmund Hbf.

It is necessary to change between the regional train and the FlixTrain at Dortmund Hbf. Between Düsseldorf/Duisburg/Mülheim/Bochum/Essen and Dortmund, please use one of the following regional trains in both directions:
